On the occasion of Independence Day, it was celebrated at Late Dr. Sau Vasudha Zade Nursing College & Vishwanand College Of Nursing, Chandrapur on 15 August 2026. The flag hosting done on 15 August 2026, at 8:00 am by President Dr. Vishwas Zade sir and vice president Dr. Nandali zade. Which was attended by all the teaching & Non-Teaching Staff and students around 350 people. On the occasion of Independence day tree plantation programme was conducted by our chief guest with teaching staff and 8th semester students and GNM 3rd year student. At 8:00AM to 11:00AM in Vishwanand auditorium hall, chandrapur which was hosted by Mr. Sahil Ashtankar And Ms. Supriya Biswas. The programme started with traditional lamp lighting ceremony by the chief guest president of Jeevan Jyoti Pratisthan Dr. Vishwas Zade and vice President Dr. Nandali Zade of Jeevan Jyoti Pratisthan. After that, guest welcoming done with the floral boquet. following that patriotic dance was done by 6th sem students and continued certificate distribution to academic toppers and postercompition winner and sports week wineer and house of the sports week . Rolling trophy given to red house as winning house. Patriotic song given by Mr. Akansha Mungal from 8TH Semester. Nextly, introduction of chief guest was given by Ms. Pooja Sherki clinical instructor VCON. Motivational Speech given by chief guest after that vote of that vote of thanks given by Ms. Ashka Dethe from BSC 3rd semester.
