World breastfeedingweek-2025 was celebrated under the theme “Invest in breastfeeding, invest in the future” this week celebration was organized by OBGY Nursing, Child Health Nursing & community health nursing department of our college. This week is celebrated form 1-7th august every year, we celebrated this day for 2 day in which our first day i.e., 03/08/2025 celebration was held at government medical college and hospital, Chandrapur in this programme 7th semester students has performed skit on the topic of Postnatal care and assessment High risk newborn assessment. And on 06/08/2025 celebration was held at Vishwanand auditorium hall of our college, in which short introduction was given by Ms. Zebanaz sheikh Assistant Professor of our college on theme of this year following it our guest Dr. kalpana Gulwade and Dr. Manwatkar consultant OBG. Has given speech and at the end of the programme guest has evaluated the rangoli and poster making competition which was held on the theme of this year and cash prizes were given winner and runner up. And programme came to an end with vote of thanks.
