CNE/CPD program of Medical Surgical nursing department was organized on 22/03/2024 and the Theme was “NURSING MANAGEMENT OF RESPIRATORY DISTRESS”. Registration of the participants was started from 8:00am to 09:00 am, simultaneously participants were to invite to have their breakfast and after breakfast all the participants were given pre-test related to the theme of the CNE/CPD conducted. Inauguration was started with lighting the lamp and garlanding the photos of Pioneer of nursing at Vishwanand Auditorium Hall, Chandrapur. After that welcome song and guests were welcomed with the Sapling. For the inauguration Guests present were President: Dr. Vishwas Zade (Jeevan Jyoti Pratishthan’s), Chief Guest: Dr.Milind Kamble (Dean GMC, Chandrapur), Ms. Dhammadina Patharde (Nursing Tutor, Government NursingSchool, Chandrapur, & observer of CNE/CPD from MNC), Vice- President: Dr. Nandali Zade (Jeevan Jyoti Pratishthan’s), Organizing Chairperson: Prof. Narendra Kolte (Principal, LDSVZN College, Chandrapur), Organizing Secretory: Prof. Dr. Poonam Wasnik (vice-Principal, LDSVZN College, Chandrapur) & Organizing Co-coordinator Dr. Snehal Patil, (HOD MSN Dept. LDSVZN College, Chandrapur). Then first session was started at 09:00 am to 10.00 am the topic was on Introduction to common respiratory problems Prof. Narendra Kolte Principal of LDSVZNC & Dr. Poonam Wasnik vice-Principal. After that the second session was started at 10.00 AM-11.00 AM the topic was on Introduction of respiratory distress, Speaker for this topic was Dr. Snehal Patil Associate Prof. /HOD-MSN Dept. LDSVZNC. Soon After that from 11.00am to 12.00 pm the next session on the topic of Diagnostic Evaluation & treatment modalities of respiratory distress, was Prof. Santosh Shinde, Principal Kaylan College of nursing & HOD of Psychiatric Dept. for this session. Later from 12.00 Pm to 01.00 Pm the next speaker for the session on the topic nursing management for patient admitted with respiratory distress, was conducted by Mrs. Vidya Palaskar Matron GMC, Chandrapur for this session. After the completion of fourth session lunch was arranged for the dignitaries as well as the participants at 01:00 pm to 01:30 pm the next session was started from 01:30 PM-3:00PM the next demonstrator of the session on topic-oxygen therapy. This session started at 01:30 PM-3:00PM by Dr. Poonam Wasnik. Following it next session was started from 03:00 PM-05:30PM the next demonstrator of the session on topic- CPR session started at 03:00 PM-05:30 PM by Dr.Nikhil Bhagwat sir. Post test was conducted after this session & collected feedback forms from the participants. At 05:45 pm – 06:00 pm valedictory function was conducted. Then at last vote of thanks was given & the program was ended with high tea and CNE certificate distributed to the all participant’s.
